This means that our customers have complete assurance that the MECX Group operates to the highest quality standards and that all regulatory requirements are met for our services. What’s more having ISO 9001: 2015 helps MECX to keep the UK’s trains on time & on track using efficient and sustainable development practices.
Customer satisfaction, collaboration and sustained growth has always been a fundamental part of our business but implementing ISO 9001:2015 ensures we identify all present customer needs and identify and assess future requirements. It also helps us to measure client satisfaction and enables us to continually improve our processes and service offering.
ISO 9001:2015 is a revision of ISO 9001:2008 which now
- Puts a greater emphasis on leadership engagement.
- Helps address organisational risks and opportunities in a structured manner.
- Uses simplified language and a common structure and terms, which are particularly helpful to organisations using multiple management systems, such as those for the environment, health & safety, or business continuity.
- Addresses supply chain management more effectively.
One of the unique parts of the new ISO 9001:2015 is that it makes you assess risks and identify opportunities, it makes you continually examine opportunities for improvement and enables you to put in place the operational controls to effectively manage and measure your performance. We are incredibly proud of our HSQE team, and in particular the hard work that our Head of Business Systems – Robert Burrus has put in over the last few months in order to to make our investment into this key ISO standard a reality – CEO Chris Mariner MECX Group.
