At MECX sustainability means ensuring a positive future for everyone and it is central to all what we do in our business.

Our Sustainability Policy help us to build upon our engagement with stakeholders, both inside and outside our business.   We believe that there are 3 focus areas to sustainability these being, People, the Planet & Profit.

Whether it’s client satisfaction, health & safety, waste or rescource efficiencies at MECX we ensure that our sustainability policy is at the forefront of everything that we do.

We also play our part in the prevention & loss of habitat and species, habitat fragmentation and disturbance by protecting and enhancing the ecosystems affected by our activities.

At MECX we are aware of the effects that our activities can have on the environment and we absolutely accept that it’s our responsibility to ensure future generations & the planet that we all live upon are not harmed.  We do this everyday by carefully considering & limiting any adverse impact  that our activities may have.

As a company, we try where possible to reduce our carbon emissions year on year by focusing primaily on resource efficiency (energy, waste, water) across our activities.

We also recognise the importance of continually improving the energy efficiency of our activities, goods and services through a more sustainable use of electricity and fuel.

MECX Group Ltd are fully committed to addressing sustainability issues. We are committed to ensuring that the social, economic and environmental impact of our business is positive and that everything we do has a sustainability focus.

We are a responsible business and support the view that sustainable business should meet the requirements of the present without compromising future generations. To do so, we will engage with our customers, colleagues and supply chain to balance long and short-term goals.

We believe in the People, Planet, Profit model of sustainable delivery and use this framework for setting out our sustainability targets:

• Deliver sustainable, profitable growth while ensuring we meet our legal, ethical and contractual requirements

Our Integrated Management System contains various Processes and Procedures which support the delivery of the above goals.
